Karayan, the only known surviving Madrafa, has returned to her homeworld of Huys after humanity failed in its attempts to slow down the AI war gods activated on Old Terra. While she was gone her city and world fell victim to criminals,  ruthless gangs, and worse lacking the law enforcement to stop them. As the clock counts down to their end Karayan has decided to make those who sinned against their own kind pay in blood, because she no longer knows another way of life.
